How Sponsorship Cohorts Work
You Don't Apply Alone — You Join a Cohort
TSIA doesn't process students one by one. Instead, we enrol students in cohorts — structured batches with a defined size. This makes funding predictable, disbursements timely, and support consistent for every student in the group.
A Cohort Opens
TSIA enrolls students in structured cohorts — limited groups of sponsored students that go through the programme together. Each cohort has a fixed capacity to ensure every student receives full support and timely disbursements.
You Register & Get Verified
Once you join a cohort, you complete your profile, submit your academic credentials, and go through WAEC result verification. Your aggregate score determines the sponsorship tier you qualify for.
Funding Is Disbursed
After verification, your sponsorship funds are released in structured payouts based on your tier. All students in the same cohort are processed together, so there are no individual delays.
The Cohort Closes, the Next Opens
When a cohort reaches capacity, it is closed and a new one is opened. This ensures TSIA can manage funding responsibly while continuously bringing new students into the programme.

TSIA uses a proprietary algorithmic scoring system (APM) to calculate your grade average. Score 50%+ to qualify. The higher your average, the more you earn.
Minimum Score Required: 50%
Students scoring below 50% average on the WAEC/NECO/GCE Academic Performance Matrix do not qualify for any sponsorship tier. All other platform features remain accessible.
